The 342 has several variants that were produced during the period from 1951 to 1960.
The first 342 models (1951-1953) still had a gold ring that was positioned more towards the cap head. Later, the
cap ring
formed the end of the cap (see photo). In another variant,
this cap was engraved (1957-1960).
The fountain pens were available with gold and steel nibs.
The following color variants are known:

- burgundy
- blue
- gray
- dark green
