This
Limited Edition was created especially for the ceremony and concert
occasioned by the recording of Beethoven's original manuscript of the
9th Symphony into the UNESCO World Heritage on the market. For this
event, 9 special personalities provided the service guides
der Beethoven-Edition persönlich signiert (Helmut Jahn, Friede Springer,
Tasha de Vasconcelos, S.K.H. Prinz Georg Friedrich von Preußen,
Sandra Mayschberger, Esther Schweins, Elvira Bach, Armin Müller-Stahl,
Volker Schlöndorff).
One of these fountain pen holders was, following the concert, at
a reception hosted by Montblanc for 500 guests of honour, auctioned for
for the State Library Berlin was auctioned.

you can see the yellow gold variant of the Beethoven (the design corresponds
to the variant in white gold). The timeless classic form closely resembles
the writing instruments of the Qing Dynasty. The cap consists of onyx
with an image of Beethoven.
